Falling Stars

Supplies

  • Waxed paper
  • Glue
  • Glitter
  • String

    How To Make It

    1. Use glue to outline as many 5-pointed stars as you want on a piece of waxed paper. Glue lines should be wide and thick.
    2. Add 3 lines to each star for a tail so that the stars look at though they are falling through the sky. Glue lines should be wide and thick.
    3. Sprinkle the lines with glitter until the glue is completely covered.
    4. Let the stars dry. This could take as long as two days.
    5. When the glue is no longer tacky, peel the stars carefully off the waxed paper.
    6. Use string to hang your stars from your bedroom ceiling!

    Notes:

In the dark, shine a flashlight on your stars to make them sparkle and glow.
