Christmas Crafts - Mitten Garland Supplies Construction paper (holiday colors) Crayons Scissors Tape Paper Punch Yarn (red or green) How To Make It Trace mitten outlines of the hands of everyone in your family on holiday colored construction paper. TO make a mitten shape, hold your thumb out and your fingers tightly together. Cut out these shapes and color them in using mitten or holiday designs. Try squiggly lines, hearts, christmas trees, zigzags, polka dots, stripes, stars, ho ho ho or anything else. Place a strip of tape along the top back of each mitten to reinforce the paper. Punch two holes through each mitten wrist about 1-2-inches apart. String all the mittens together with yarn. Back to Christmas Crafts
