Fun for All Easter Egg Hunt

To make easter egg hunts fun for all the kids at your party or home, have eggs painted a certain color for each child. At the start of the hunt, give each child a different colored egg for their basket. Tell them this is the color that they're supposed to hunt for (any other colors don't count). Tell them the number of eggs each child is hunting for. The first child to find all their eggs wins a special prize.

Find your Name Easter Egg Hunt

Write the name of each child on an egg. The person that finds their own name wins a prize. Make sure you let the children know that eggs with any other names should be placed back in it's hiding place.

Easter Egg Memory Hunt Game

Take pairs of easter eggs and paint only one side of each pair the same color and/or paint the same decoration on that side.(leave the other side unpainted/undecorated). Hide the easter eggs, painted side down, and have the kids search for the eggs. When they find an egg they must leave it behind and search for the egg's mate before they can go back and pick up the other matching egg. The person who finds the most matches wins a prize!

Egg Rolling

Make a starting line and a finishing line (I use colored string). Children must roll their eggs from one line to the next using a spoon or straw to push the eggs. If a child touches their egg, or breaks their egg, they are out of the race. The first child to get their egg across the finish line wins!

Spoon Races

Make a starting line and a finishing line (I use colored string). Every child gets an agg and a soup spoon. All children line up on the starting line and put their eggs in their spoons. Get someone to yell, ´Go!´ Everyone races to the finsih line and the first person to cross wins. If your egg falls of your spoon, you must go back to the starting line and begin again. To make the game more challenging, make this a relay race or make the contestants run an obsticle course. You can have older children race holding the end of the spoon in their mouths. Make sure eggs are hard boiled.

Yard Bowling with Eggs

Place one egg in the center of a large circle. Have all players stand just outside the circle. Every child should have one egg. Have the children take turns rolling their egg towards the egg in the center of the circle. The object of the game is to get as close to the center egg as possible without touching it. If they touch the center egg, or break their egg, they are out!

Prizes For Games

The prizes can be anything about Easter. Try chocolate Easter eggs or bunnies, jelly bean bags, Easter basket, a plush animal, egg decorating kit, purple pens and stationery, Easter mugs, Easter decorated placemats, skipping ropes, ball and jacks, etc...
