Keeping an online journal is a great idea for people of all ages. Not only is it fun, but it creates a permanent record of all your memories. Journal writing creates an opportunity for you to express the more creative side of yourself. It enables you to communicate your feelings better and provides a sense of stability in your life.
When writing in your online journal be sure to record the date of your entry. Keep your journal organized by month. Use multiple journals to express different aspects of your life. For example, keep separate journals for online friendships and real life friendships. Add images, doodles, sayings and quotes to your entries. Make a time promise to yourself that you will write one entry a day in your online journal. It only takes five minutes!
Let's get started with your online journal. Look through my archive of templates and images made by me. These are free for you to download and use for non-profit sites. Once you have chosen one, simply unzip it, open the .htm file and type in your first entry. Upload the .htm and image files to your server and you are done!
Email me your journal web address and I will link to it on this page! yoclub@shaw.ca
