I know how to say,
"I Can Do It"


When To Say It

When you don't want someone's help.
When you are volunteering to do something.

When Not To Say It

When you cannot complete the task.
To step on someone else's toes.

Why We Say It

To politely show we are able to complete a task.
To let someone know respectfully that we are growing up.
To help other people.

How To Say It

Make eye contact.
In a normal tone of voice say, "I can..." or, "I can do it".
State what it is you can do.

Examples

"I can pick up a bag of milk after school."
"I can do it by myself but, if I need help I will ask you."
"If you want, I can do that for you."
"I can watch my baby brother/sister while you go to the neighbour's."
