Applesause Raisin Cookies
Ingredients
1/4 c Vegetable oil
1/4 c Sugar
1 Egg
1 ts Vanilla extract
1/2 c Unsweetened Applesauce
1/2 c Whole Wheat Flour
1/2 c Unbleached White Flour
2 ts Baking powder
1/2 ts Baking soda
1 ts Ground cinnamon
1/8 ts Ground cloves
1/2 c Rolled oats
1/2 c Raisins
Method
- Cream the oil and sugar together.
- Add the egg and beat until light.
- Blend in the vanilla and applesauce.
- Stir in the flours, baking
powder, baking soda, cinnamon, cloves, oats and raisins into the
creamed mixture. Blend well.
- Drop by teaspoonfuls onto lightly-oiled baking sheets.
- Bake in a 375°F oven for 8-10 min or until lightly browned.
- Cool on a wire rack.
