Sugar Cone Christmas Trees

Ingredients

  • Sugar Cones
  • Chocolate chips, white chocolate chips or candy melts
  • Assorted candies for decorating
  • Gumdrops for the top of the tree
  • Waxed Paper

    Method

    1. Spread out sheets of waxed paper to work on.
    2. Microwave chocolate or candy melts in shallow bowl just until it starts to melt, stir till smooth.
    3. Roll cone in chocolate with two fingers inside cone to hold. Lift cone out with two fingers inside cone.
    4. Place a gumdrop on top and press gently .
    5. Decorate with assorted candies.
    6. Let decorated trees stand until chocolate hardens.

    Note: White chocolate hardens faster than regular chocolate.

    Decoration Ideas: M&M's or Smarties large and mini sizes, gumdrops, marshmallows, cinnamon candy, silver balls, sprinkles, colored sugars, icing.
