Caramel Apples
Ingredients
2 c honey
3/4 c evaporated milk
1 tsp vanilla
3 Tbsp butter
pinch salt
6 to 8 large apples
Method
- Mix honey and evaporated milk together. Cook, stirring constantly
to firm ball stage or to 255 degrees on a candy thermometer.
- Stir
in vanilla, butter and salt.
- Dip apples into caramel. Spoon excess
from bottom.
- Place on greased cookie sheet. Chill until caramel is
firm.
