Chocolate Turtles
Ingredients
1/2 lb soft caramels
2 tbsp. heavy cream
1 cup pecan halves
2 squares semi-sweet chocolate
Method
- Melt caramels with cream over hot water. Cool about 10 minutes.
- Place pecans on waxed paper in groups of 3 (one for head and 2 for
legs).
- Spoon caramel mixture over nuts, leaving 3 tips showing. Let
stand till set - 30 minutes.
- Partially melt chocolate over hot water. Remove from water, stir
till melted. Cool. Spread over caramels.
