Pumpkin Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • ½ tsp. nutmeg
  • 2 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1 - 14oz. can pumpkin
  • ½ cup evaporated milk
  • ½ cup cream
  • 1 pie shell

    Method

    1. Mix together first four ingredients, thoroughly.
    2. Stir in eggs.
    3. Add pumpkin; blend well.
    4. Stir in milk and cream.
    5. Pour into pie shell.
    6. Bake 450º for 20 minutes. Reduce to 350º for 25 minutes or until firm and crust is well browned.
