Peas and Carrots

Ingredients

  • 2-3 cups peeled and sliced carrots
  • 1-2 cups frozen peas
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

    Method

    1. Place sliced carrots in a saucepan. Cover carrots with water and add a bit of salt to the water. Bring to a boil and cook until almost tender.
    2. Add frozen peas and cook for 2-3 minutes longer. Drain peas and carrots well.
    3. Add butter, salt and pepper.
    4. Serve immediately.
