Peas and Carrots
Ingredients
2-3 cups peeled and sliced carrots
1-2 cups frozen peas
1 tbsp butter
Salt and pepper to taste
Method
- Place sliced carrots in a saucepan. Cover carrots with water and add a bit of salt to the water. Bring to a boil and cook until almost tender.
- Add frozen peas and cook for 2-3 minutes longer. Drain peas and carrots well.
- Add butter, salt and pepper.
- Serve immediately.
